SYDNEY QUARTER SESSIONS.
(Before Judge Docker and juries.)

Mr Herbert Harris was Crown Prosecutor.
…

ACQUITTED.

Arthur Haigh pleaded not guilty to a charge of impropriety at Avoca-street, Randwick, and was defended by Mr ER Abigail.

The accused, who said he came over from Melbourne and worked on the trams as a loyalist during the strike, gave a general denial to the charge from the witness-box.

The jury, without leaving the box, found a verdict of not guilty, and the accused was discharged.
