(Before His Honor Judge Hamilton.)

    Mr AF Dawson, Crown Prosecutor.

FOUND NOT GUILTY.

Leslie Adams (18), who was represented by Mr TA Braye, pleaded not guilty to a charge of improperly assaulting [Mathias McLean], at Merewether, on March 30. At the close of the Crown case his Honor directed the jury that while he would be competent to convict on the evidence, it would be highly dangerous to do so. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty from the box, and accused was discharged.
